2 Ways To Get Face Unlock On Redmi Note 4 Without Root!

Hello Guys, a recent update in one our favorite forum XDA, a great developer tried to port Redmi Note 5 Pro's Face unlock to Redmi Note 4!

Im Going to show you all 2 Methods:
1st one is for root users and
2nd one is for non root users!

For doing the 1st Method this is what we need :

1.ROOT
2.TWRP RED WOLF RECOVERY(SUGGESTED)
3.BACKUP OF ALL DATA ON YOUR PHONE!

SO first, once backed up all the files, clear cache of your phone, then flash as a regular file, i cant link the files, if its not allowed so!

Then boot normally from twrp.
That's it, then you would have an option in lock screen and passwords option

2nd METHOD :

If you want face unlock without flashing and not doing all that stuff, there's already a option by google in All devices.

But for no reason i didn't find the google smart lock option in MiUi9!

But, i got your back

Open settings, from top corner search for smart passwords and enable it!

Then in settings > Account > Google > Smart Lock By Google > Lock screen smart lock > Enable The Smart Lock Google Option!
Now, go to settings > lock screen and passwords > Select 'Google', from there You will see lot of options, there is voice lock, face lock, pattern /pin lock, etc.

Now, here's a tip, please don't fall for any app which says that it will enable face unlock on your device. It can be a scam and your face can be used as a digital signature!
